About the Practice

Welcome to Meadowbrook Equine, a full service mobile veterinary practice serving horses and small ruminants in western Vermont and upstate New York since 2008. Dr. Mary O’Donovan and Dr. Kathleen Gill are committed to providing compassionate, professional care to their patients and clients. We offer a wide variety of services including routine wellness and preventative care, dentistry, lameness evaluations, digital radiography, reproductive work, and integrated medicine such as chiropractic care.

How do I get a copy of my Coggins?

We are now using MyVetLink to provide access to your digital Coggins and health certificates. Please create an account on their website to access your documents. Go to our Links page for more information.

What do I do in an emergency?

Emergency coverage for clients is available 24/7. If you need assistance during office hours, please call (802) 989-5846 and your veterinarian will be contacted. If you are having an emergency outside of normal office hours, please call (802) 229-6541 and the on-call veterinarian will be paged.

Are you accepting new clients?

Dr. Kathleen Gill will be on maternity leave this fall and start of winter so we will have more limited ability to take on new clients. Please contact the office to see if you're able create an account with us.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, check and all major credit cards. If you do not have a card on file, payment is required at the time of service.

What is your practice range?

Meadowbrook Equine offers services in Vermont and New York. Our practice area covers Addison County, extending north to Shelburne and south to Castleton/Rutland. We also offer services in Rochester and Stockbridge, VT. New York State coverage includes Port Heny, Crown Point and Ticonderoga.

What kinds of animals do you treat?

Meadowbrook Equine cares for equines and small ruminants. Our patients include horses, ponies, donkeys, alpacas, goats and sheep.
